1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Air Inference (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, dashboard, marketplace, and API. By using the service you agree to this policy. For rules about using the product, see our Terms and Conditions.

2. Information we collect

• Account data — email, display name, organization, role, avatar, and authentication details (including Google sign-in identifiers when you choose that method).
• Billing data — purchase and top-up records, wallet balances/ledger entries, and payment status. Card details are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
• API & usage data — API key metadata (hashed secrets), request timestamps, models, listing IDs, token/USD metering, and error statuses needed to operate the marketplace.
• Provider data — listing details and encrypted upstream credentials you submit to serve traffic.
• Support chat — messages you send in Air Support, plus limited account context when you are signed in, used to answer product questions.
• Technical data — IP address, browser/device info, cookies/session tokens, and basic analytics needed for security and reliability.

3. How we use information

• Provide, secure, and improve the marketplace and API
• Authenticate users, manage API keys, and prevent abuse
• Process payments, Air Credits, and usage metering
• Proxy inference requests to the provider behind the Air model ID you call
• Send transactional email (confirmations, receipts, security notices)
• Respond to support requests and operate in-product help
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your API prompts to train a public foundation model operated by Air Inference. Upstream providers may process prompts under their own terms when your traffic is sent to them.

4. Sharing & processors

We share data only as needed to run the service, including with:

• Infrastructure providers (e.g. hosting, database/auth) that process data under contract
• Stripe for checkout and payments
• Email delivery for transactional messages
• Inference providers you purchase from or pin — they receive the model request payload required to fulfill the call
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety

5. Cookies & sessions

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session security, and basic site function. You can control cookies in your browser; disabling them may prevent sign-in or dashboard use.

6. Retention

We keep account, billing, and usage records for as long as your account is active and as needed for operations, dispute resolution, security, and legal obligations. You may request account deletion from Settings (or by contacting us); some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business needs (e.g. completed payments).

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit, hashed API keys, and encrypted storage of provider credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please protect your passwords and air_ keys.

8. Your choices

• Update profile details in Dashboard → Settings
• Revoke API keys anytime
• Request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us
• Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws

9. International transfers

We may process information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. If you access Air Inference from elsewhere, you understand your information may be transferred to those locations.

10. Children’s privacy

Air Inference is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
